Most athletes are better than they know. I help them prove it.

      • What I do

I’m an executive-turned-coach who’s worked with high-growth startups for over a dozen years. I've helped clients launch, run, scale and exit companies, and become better leaders along the way.

        What I really do

I help people get unstuck, understand what they really want, and go after it with gusto. Supporting people on that path is where my skills, talent, and passion overlap.

      • What you can expect

        Know your edge

Self-awareness is a competitive advantage. We figure out what drives you, what holds you back, what you're better at than you realize. Then we build on it.

        Stay in your head

Composure under pressure. Confidence that doesn't fall apart after one bad game. The mental side of performance is trainable. We train it.

        Sharpen your goals

Get clear on what you actually want — not what you think you're supposed to want. We set near-term goals and long-term vision, then build the habits to make it real.

        Make better decisions

Under pressure. In negotiations. In the moments that matter. Emotional regulation and clear thinking are skills. They get better with practice.

        Win beyond the game

Your career on the court is one part of your life. We also talk about money, relationships, transitions, and how to set yourself up for the long run.

      • “Working with Aaron helped me refine my routine and grow as a player – mentally and as a leader. I stopped being passive and started playing like the basketball player I already knew how to be.”

        Boden Kapke, Center, Nebraska Basketball

“Having someone with real experience in the professional world has helped me in ways I didn't expect. I understand leverage a lot better now – especially in negotiations – and I think differently about my career outside of basketball. Aaron is personable and transparent. I'd recommend him to any player who recognizes that nobody gets anywhere alone.”

Ndewedo Newbury, Forward, University of San Francisco Basketball

“I'm more aware of my thought processes now – on the field and in everyday life. But what I'm most proud of is getting my confidence back. Aaron helped me stop hyper-fixating on mistakes; he encouraged me every step of the way to find the reason I love the sport and to do it for myself. Working with him helped me ultimately make the leap to playing professionally.”

Abi High, Midfielder, Ft Lauderdale United FC Soccer

“Aaron's strategic horsepower is impressive, but what surprised me is his emotional depth and

dedication. The combination is unbeatable – he's been invaluable in helping me win at life and

become the man I want to be.”

Jay Rosenkrantz, Startup Founder & High Stakes Poker Pro

“We were new to the Silicon Valley ecosystem, and we had no idea how close we were to losing everything. Aaron immediately dove in on the problems we were trying to define and aligned us with resources to help tackle them. Having righted the ship, we committed to deeper work with Aaron, and it ultimately led to a life-changing exit.”

Heather Harmon & Ali Mackani, Co-Founders @ RedDoor (acquired by Open Door)

      • How I got here

Growing up, my biggest interests were math and the human mind. So in college, I got degrees in both psychology and poker (one formal, one less so). One taught me what makes people tick, the other taught me how to manage risk and make decisions under pressure.

Before committing 7 years to an advanced Psych degree, I decided to explore the startup world and found my way into growth marketing. I loved everything about startups right away—the vertical learning curve, the against-all-odds audacity, the scrappiness, the camaraderie—and I stuck with it. As I built and scaled teams at different companies, two things became clear: I loved everything about people development and team cohesion, and I got no spark from marketing.

That realization ultimately led me to coaching. I immersed myself in formal education, got accredited with the Coaches Training Institute, then earned my “advanced degree” with the Conscious Leadership Group while I built my practice.

When I’m not coaching, you will find me hiking in the mountains, hanging with my wife and two youngsters, hiking in the redwoods, or feeding my competitive spirit at the poker table or on the basketball court.
